Annual Herb Sale

Each year, the members of the Tamanend Park Herb Gardening Club pull together to organize the annual herb sale. The Herb Sale is always held the THIRD weekend in May, on both Saturday and Sunday, at the Farmhouse at Tamanend Park, 1255 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA (click for directions). Moneys raised from this annual event are put toward a scholarship fund for local students and speakers’ fees for club meetings. The Herb Sale was held on May 16 & 17, 2026 Held Rain or Shine! Plants $4.00 each (some may be priced higher) Choose from thousand of plants – which include culinary, fragrant, native, shade and dyer’s herbs, some rare and unusual. Preorder your plants at herbsale@aol.com Must pick up order by Saturday, 12:00 noon, no exceptions. Plants will be resold. Partial Plant list for 2013 Herb Sale! Money raised from this annual event are put toward a scholarship fund for local students and speakers’ fees for club meetings. It also helps to defray the cost of the club trip, and keep the dues down to a mere $10.00 per year. DID YOU KNOW? With monies raised from our sales during the last 10 years we have donated over $10,000 in scholarship funds to Delaware Valley College students, as well as various scholarships to both 4-H and Tech-school students. |
